Challenge

We build a web application to ease the ordering workflow and streamline the work of restaurants and hotels. While investigating the market, we found that the hospitality industry faced several critical challenges that required innovative solutions. These obstacles ranged from user experience issues to technical integration complexities and long-term engagement concerns. 

Addressing these challenges was crucial for creating a platform that could truly revolutionize service delivery in the hospitality sector. Here are the key issues we identified:

  1. Complex user onboarding processes were deterring potential customers from engaging with existing digital solutions. Many apps require downloads, installations, and lengthy setup procedures, creating significant barriers to entry.

  2. Integration with existing hospitality systems posed a major hurdle. The diverse array of property management systems, point-of-sale software, and customer relationship management tools used across the industry necessitated a flexible and comprehensive integration approach.

  3. User retention was a persistent challenge for digital platforms in the hospitality space. Keeping guests engaged and encouraging repeated use of technology-driven services, especially in an industry traditionally reliant on personal interactions, required careful consideration.

  4. Balancing automation with the personal touch was a delicate task. While streamlining processes was necessary, maintaining the human element of service remained crucial for guest satisfaction.

To address the challenges we identified in the hospitality industry, we developed ServeMe, a comprehensive platform that streamlines operations and enhances guest experiences. We created a responsive web application accessible from any device, eliminating the need for downloads and installations.   • Order history

The platform maintains a comprehensive browsing history of all orders made across associated hotels and restaurants. This feature enables personalized recommendations and streamlines the reordering process for returning guests.

  • Promotional content

We incorporated a section for browsing promotions, allowing hotels and restaurants to showcase special offers, events, or seasonal deals. This feature drives engagement and encourages additional purchases.

  • Order status tracking

An intuitive order status bar keeps guests informed about the progress of their orders in real-time, reducing anxiety and improving the overall dining experience.

  • Staff rating system

We implemented a feature allowing guests to rate the staff serving them. This not only provides valuable feedback for management but also encourages staff to maintain high service standards.

  • Integration capabilities

Our solution was designed with robust API integration capabilities, allowing seamless connection with various existing hospitality management systems, including PMS, POS, and CRM tools.
