On February 24, 2022, the Russian army attacked Ukraine. Every day Ukrainian people, as well as Ukrainian cities, are being bombed, shelled and destroyed. During all this time, Techstack and each of its members keep operating. We strongly condemn the Russian aggression and are absolutely sure the victory will be on our side.
We are doing all we can to bring this moment closer: continuing to work, supporting the national economy, developing engineering solutions that make the world a better place, donating to the army, volunteering, providing humanitarian aid to people in need, and taking care of each other.
Now we’d like to explain Techstack’s response to the war and our plans.
Techstack Team
Since the first days of the war, the safety of our members has been Techstack’s top priority. Today, each team member is out of danger and has decent living and working conditions.
Over the year 2022, Techstack launched three new hubs to establish a safe, comfortable and uninterrupted workflow for our team members located in different parts of Ukraine and abroad. All in all, we now have four locations:
- Kharkiv, Ukraine;
- Kyiv, Ukraine;
- Lviv, Ukraine;
- Wroclaw, Poland.
All functional locations are equipped with power generators and Starlinks that enable uninterrupted operations under emergency power outages and communication faults. Moreover, each location in Ukraine has an underground shelter, increasing techstackers’ safety during emergencies. At the same time, Techstack helped to equip all team members who work remotely with portable power generators and Starlinks. This makes this part of the team fully prepared for any unforeseen situations.
In the very first days of the war, we made a decision that none of Techstack’s team members would lose their position inside the company due to the crisis. We have kept this promise to ourselves to this day, and we are proud that Techstack didn’t reduce in number of members.
In turn, all techstackers have been working with great dedication, devotion and passion, fulfilling all obligations, supporting each other, and generating the most innovative solutions to each challenge they meet. Moreover, the majority of our members have engaged in volunteering and charity, supporting the army, people in need, and other vulnerable groups. One of our team members has joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces and is currently protecting us from the Russian Invasion.
In our blog post, you can find out more on how the people of Techstack work and live during these challenging times.
People are our main value, and we are sure that we work with exceptional people who do exceptional things. These trying times have proved this once again.
Techstack Partners & Products
Despite all the challenges, Techstack continues to function and grow: opening new positions, gaining new partners, establishing a stable delivery, fulfilling all obligations, and launching new delivery hubs. By providing a safe environment for our team and launching a European location, Techstack has been able to grow its presence in the major IT hubs across Europe, guaranteeing full security and stability to our partners and their products.
At the same time, our partners provided us with all-encompassing support and understanding: helping relocate our team and donating to Ukrainian charity organizations and the Armed Forces. We are proud of having customers who are also our friends.
This combination of factors allowed us to expand the geography of our partners—adding innovative products from Finland, Sweden, and Germany to our portfolio—and expanding our industry expertise in Energetics, AgroTech, and Logistics. Moreover, it allowed us to expand the already existing development teams within Techstack and build joint plans for future growth. We are happy to notice that in 2022, some of the small teams that started with two or three people turned into major accounts with a dozen people onboard. Once again, we ensured that the stable expertise of our technical specialists, an understanding of our partners’ goals, and a confident teams leadership result in long-lasting and effective collaboration.
Techstack’s Future
The war made us realize that we cannot give up. It pushes us to do our best every day. Today, we are already fully adjusted to the new conditions and prepared for whatever challenges we might face. This let us formulate brief plans for 2023, which include:
- expanding our team;
- developing our partners’ products and acquiring new ones;
- deepening and expending our expertise in AI, ML and IoT;
- improving internal processes, corporate culture, and professional development to the hybrid format (remote & office);
- launching internal product function;
- volunteering and supporting the Armed Forces;
- staying in touch with each other and providing help and support.
